Shoulder Time with Your Children


Take time to hang out with your kids and just listen and be.  Let them know you are there.  Silence is good.  In fact, tell yourself to stop talking -  just listen.  Reflect and let your child process, sort and figure out his or her own thoughts.  You may be surprised what your children are wanting and willing to share when you are around and ready to listen.
