Brain Break

                           

          *Here is another idea for a brain break* 

     We are giving our students a "taste test" on detailed coloring. We are directing the students to pick one small area to focus on at a time and use small movements to stay in the lines. Allow yourself 5 minutes to pause from the day and let your mind pull together and strengthen the skill of focus.  The children are saying this activity makes them feel calm and allows other thoughts to "go away" and helps them enjoy the silence.  You can use markers, crayons or colored pencils. Enjoy your brain break!
