This week we will have our first meeting with our Concord Leader Council. Our hope is to encourage and give opportunity to our students to practice being a leader in our school community.
We want the students to understand the value of rotation in a leadership role and the manner in which others can help, encourage and support one another to reach a group goal.
Hats OFF to OHLER! On Tuesday, May 8th , students can wear a hat or orange for a $1 donation. Please help us raise money for Wil Ohler, LHS high schooler who was diagnosed with Leukemia last year. He is trying to collect 800 soccer balls to give away to other kids diagnosed with cancer. All money we collect will go towards buying soccer balls to help support Wil. In addition, you can also pick up a new soccer ball this weekend and donate it in the lobby. For more information, please visit his Facebook Page. #orangeforohler
We will be finishing up our summer safety lessons k-5 this week. K-3 grade classes heard a lesson about keeping their body safe - just is case. Our fourth and fifth grade students learned about safe usage of social media. They also heard keys points to be a responsible digital citizen. Please review the packet information sent home with your child.
